Mrs. Thomas’ Aquatic Science and Environmental Systems classes had a productive day at the preserve! Students collected data on salinity, turbidity, pH, water temperature, and wind, and even caught a few native saltwater species using throw nets and fish nets. They compared four unique ecosystems and learned how water restrictions connect to the need to recharge our watersheds.
Our Junior High Cross Country team had another great showing!
Kendall Pond earned 9th place among 8th grade girls, and Korbin Ruiz finished 9th among 7th grade boys. We’re proud of their dedication and effort!
