The CX TEAM (Diego, Coleman, JES, and Mario) have been at the UIL CX Championship Meet. After 12 hours of debating yesterday, Coleman and JES made it to finals and JES received the Silver Gavel Speaker Award. As Coleman and JES continue to compete in the finals (we are currently top 8 and undefeated.), we will have more results as the day progresses.
This afternoon's Lady Bulldog Home Softball game has been cancelled. This game will not be made up, and we could not find a team to play in their place. Brackett forfeited the game.

The Three Rivers High School UIL math teams competed at the state TMSCA meet at UTSA today.
🚨 For the second year in a row, the Calculator Applications team is the 1A/2A state champions! 🚨
🚨 And this year, the mathematics team also won the 1A/2A state championship! 🚨
Individual awards include:
Adrian Gaines (9th grade) - calculator 1st, math 2nd
Sam Osborne (9th grade) - number sense 6th
Heidi Riojas (11th grade) - calculator 5th
Osiel Rodriguez (11th grade) - calculator 1st, math 3rd
Jonathan Cruces (11th grade) - calculator 2nd
Mario Alvarez (11th grade) - math 1st, calculator 4th
Diego Arvizu (11th grade) - math 2nd
And with only a total of 9 students competing on the Three Rivers squad, the group placed 3rd overall. Congratulations!
