The Varsity Boys beat Jourdanton 35-34 to take 3rd in the McMullen County Tournament. Caden Soliz was selected All-Tourney. There was a high level of competition in this 12-team tournament.
Three Rivers turned in a number of 204 students.
As a follow up from our earlier post, here is what the Texas Education Agency added. "Many districts statewide have received emails containing bomb threats that appear to be from Russia. We have been in contact with state and federal law enforcement and the emails appear to be a hoax. We will provide additional information as it becomes available."

Several area school districts in Bee and surrounding counties received a terroristic threat this morning. While Three Rivers ISD did not specifically receive the threat and nor was it mentioned, we contacted law enforcement including the Three Rivers PD, LOC Sheriff's Department, and DPS. We are closely monitoring the situation and will have more patrols as well. If you hear or see anything, please report it to a school district official so that we can continue to keep our students safe and secure! Varsity Bulldogs are 1-1 in Tournament play earning a victory against Center Point and a loss to San Diego. The Bulldogs will play on Saturday at 11:00 am. Go Bulldogs!
