The Bulldog and Lady Bulldog Coaching staffs would like to sincerely thank all the individuals , organizations , and local businesses for all the help and support at our Annual Basketball Tournament this past weekend. A big thanks to Sowells BBQ and Staghorn for providing lunch for our Hospitality Room and always supporting TRISD! Also thank you to our wonderful Bulldog Athletic Booster Club for providing breakfast tacos, Coach Ruiz for providing pulled pork sandwiches, and as always Whitney Means for preparing tea and providing cinnamon rolls and breakfast casserole . Thank you to Board member Dianne Dye for providing our great desserts everyday of the tourney! And thank you Vanessa Vargas for all the help during the tournament and all season ! Upcoming McMullen County High School Basketball Tournament Bracket:

Bulldog basketball lost to San Diego earlier today 58-43. Scoring for the game: Jacob Amaro - 20 Derek Lancaster - 11 Isaiah Asevedo - 6 Zak Rodriguez - 3 Xavier Carranza - 3 The Bulldogs defeated Charlotte 57-38. Scoring for the game: Jacob Amaro - 22 Derek Lancaster - 20 Jason Galey - 5 Isaiah Asevedo - 3 Zak Rodriguez - 3 Xavier Carranza - 2 John Silva - 2 The Bulldogs went 2-1 in the tournament and finished 2nd. All-Tournament selections were Jacob Amaro and Derek Lancaster. The Bulldogs will be back in action at home on Tuesday vs McMullen County High School.

Symphonic Band Inductees!

Varsity Lady Bulldogs post a win over Medina, 55-50, in the Bulldog Classic on Friday afternoon.

The Varsity Boys’ Basketball game this afternoon against the Freer VB team has been cancelled. Two other games will, in turn, be moved up. Our girls will now play at 3:30 pm and the San Diego-Charlotte game will now be at 5:00 pm.
