Three Rivers School District - Home of the Bulldogs

Jacquelynn Sindt finished with an elite group from across the state in UIL Student Congress. While she didn't medal, she was a finalist, ranked in the top 10! We will be back next year, Austin!

The District will closely be monitoring the incoming freezing weather and make a decision by lunchtime on Monday on whether we have a regular start, a late start, or school cancellation. Check the website, School Facebook, and Corpus Christi news stations. We will consult with TxDot, DPS, Live Oak County Emergency Management, and the City of Three Rivers. We have two Early Release Friday's coming up... Friday, January 26th (1:00 pm) and Friday, February 9th (1:00 pm). The one in February is the result of the Jr. High School hosting the Jr. High UIL Academic Meet. Please mark your calendars.

We have three high school basketball games this evening in the SAC Gym...JV Boys, Varsity Girls, and Varsity Boys vs. Refugio. JV tips off at 5:00 pm. It should be a great night of competition for our Bulldog student athletes.

Destiny Welburn, Jacquelynn Sindt, and Kadence Linares competed at the UIL State Congress tournament. Jacquelynn Sindt is competing in finals today at the state capitol! Here they are taking the oath of office, and awaiting results. Way to go, TR Debate!

Monday, January 15th, 2024, is Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. This is a School Holiday. We will resume classes on Tuesday, January 16th.

Hope everyone enjoyed their Holidays. Faculty and staff report back to work on Monday, January 8th, for a Teacher Workday. Students will report back to school on Tuesday, January 9th. Happy 2024, Bulldogs!

Your TRHS basketball teams return to the court with an away district game at Kenedy HS on Tuesday, January 9th. JV Boys begin at 5:00 pm followed by the Varsity Girls' game. Varsity Boys' game will be the last of the three games to complete the night!
