More GREAT news from Mr. Jimmy Conn! On April 23, the TRHS UIL academic team competed at the 2A region IV contest in LaVernia. The team placed 8th out of 55 schools in the region.
Individual awards include:
Sadie Desselle - 2nd ready writing
Gustavo Riojas - 4th calculator applications and 4th math
Oscar Cruces - 5th calculator applications
Matthew Zamzow - 6th calculator applications
Destiny Welburn - 5th Headline Writing
Olivia DeLeon - 5th news writing
The math and calculator teams both placed 3rd overall.
Sadie Desselle will be competing at the state UIL contest in Austin on May 6.

TR vs LA Pryor at 5 pm Monday in Charlotte. The winner plays 30 min after vs Sabinal. If rain is in the forecast, the games will get moved to Somerset.
