Leis, leadership, and legendary heroes! Are you in an ag class this year? If so come say "Hi" at our back to school social Monday evening. We will be holding a parent information meeting at the same time, followed by a mandatory barn meeting for feeders and parents if you will be keeping livestock projects at the school barn.

Students in 7th-12th grade who have taken or are enrolled in a Family and Consumer Science class can become a member of our award winning FCCLA chapter. Students can participate in STAR Events, the L.O.C. Fair and gain leadership opportunities.

Good morning. The Jr.-Senior High School is conducting required safety drills today. That may explain more law enforcement on campus today. Here is the chart we use to explain the commands.

Big news and an even bigger proud moment! Huge congratulations to TRHS Senior Walker Fox for officially taking his Oath of Enlistment into the United States Marine Corps Delayed Entry Program! Walker has dreamed of joining the Marines since he was just 7 years old, and seeing that dream come true is incredible. After graduation, he’ll be heading out to San Diego for basic training before starting his path toward a career in aviation mechanics with the USMC. Walker, we couldn’t be prouder of your dedication and commitment to serving our country. You’re going to do amazing things!

The Elementary playground is shaping up nicely with new turf. Tarkett crews are expecting to be done this Friday.

We have about 90 good playground pads made out of compressed foam for sale at $15 a pad. There are many smaller ones and partially torn ones as well. Those can be sold for $7.00 a pad. The whole pads are about 4' x 8' in size and about 1 3/4-2" in thickness. If interested, message me on Facebook.

As we gear up for the new school year, we want to make sure all of our shop students are completely prepared to hit the ground running. Safety is our biggest priority, and having the right gear on day one makes all the difference. I’ve put together a quick visual guide, but here is a simple breakdown of what to bring and wear: Must-Haves (Required Daily) 1) Long-sleeve welding shirt/jacket: Keeps arms protected from sparks and heat. 2) Full-length denim jeans: Solid jeans only, please! No frays, rips, or holes—sparks love finding those. 3) Leather boots or shoes: Closed-toe shoes are required at all times, but leather boots are a must once we start welding. 4) Safety glasses: We supply these in class! Good to Have (Optional/Recommended) 5) Leather welding gloves: We keep some on hand in the shop, but having your own pair that fits well is always a good idea. 6) Welding helmet: Great option if your student plans on doing a lot of welding projects but I have several available as well 7) Lock: To keep personal stuff safe in the shop lockers. 8 ) Water bottle: We have a bottle refilling station in the shop instead of traditional fountains, so send them with a refillable bottle to stay hydrated. A quick tip from experience: please write your student’s name on their gear with a sharpie! Items tend to look alike once they're laid out in the shop. Senior Sunrise!

Three Rivers ISD is pleased to announce that the Financial Integrity Rating of Texas or FIRST has assigned a preliminary grade of "A" or "Superior" to the District's finances for the school year, 2025-2026 (Based on 2024-2025 data) with a score of 98. This is a credit to the hard work of our Board, Administration, and Teachers!
